My Mission

I started leading people before I knew what I was doing.

Four years in ministry leadership taught me the first lesson: people don't follow strategy. They follow clarity and conviction. I built teams with no budget, no leverage, and no ability to fire anyone. If you can lead volunteers, you can lead anybody.

Then I spent 11 years in real estate.

I started on a team and got to see a winning culture up close. It was the real thing. Then leadership stopped protecting it, and I watched it come apart. Same people. Same market. Different culture.

That taught me more than any win did. Culture isn't something you build once. It's something you defend.

So I built my own. I kept what worked, left the rest, and grew one of the top teams in Idaho. A dozen agents, one partner, two employees, and every culture problem you can name.

I figured out what I actually loved.

It was never the transaction. It was the conversation. It was about developing people. I've now spent over 10,000 hours in that seat with CEOs, founders, and executive teams.

I built one of the top teams in Idaho. A dozen agents, three employees, and every culture problem you can name. Turnover. Misalignment. People who could sell but couldn't be led. I learned this work by running a company, not by reading about it.

Somewhere in there I figured out what I actually loved.

It was never the transaction. It was the conversation. The moment a leader stops defending the way they've always done it and gets honest about what's really happening on their team. I've now spent over 10,000 hours in that seat with CEOs, founders, and executive teams.

WHAT I DO NOW

I work with founders, executives, and leadership teams to build winning cultures. That means getting clear on what actually matters, setting expectations people can meet, and developing leaders who take ownership instead of waiting for direction.

Most leaders want a strong culture. Very few can define it, teach it, or protect it as they scale. That's the work.

I live in Coeur d'alene with my family and run my practice from here. I'm still a Northwest guy at heart, and most of the best conversations I've had started at a table, not on a stage.
